Angry residents necklace stock thief

A MAN was necklaced by Thaba Nchu community members early yesterday morning, Free State police said. Constable Consolation Mokoale said the man was believed to have been a livestock thief. He was reportedly severely assaulted before being necklaced. The man was still on fire when police arrived. He was later declared dead at the scene by paramedics. – Sapa
