Heavy toll in Chinese crash

BEIJING: Thirteen people died and 41 others were injured when a truck collided with a bus in central China yesterday. The official Xinhua News Agency said the truck went through a road divider and crashed into the bus on the opposite side. Road safety is a serious problem in China, with many accidents caused by poorly maintained roads and bad driving habits.
