The only girl named as a top achiever

-

LOUZANNE Coetzee spent 12 years at the Pioneer School for the Blind in Worcester, Western Cape – far away from her parents’ home in the Free State.

Today she is reaping the fruits of that dedication to her education.

She was the only girl among 10 pupils to be recognised as one of the country’s top achievers.

“I pushed myself hard to achieve a lot and do more things like a sighted person because sighted people get accepted more,” she said.

She will study marketing. – Botho Molosankwe
