SO IT’S the weekend of the 16th and your plans aren’t completely sorted.

Or maybe you have made plans but they just don’t seem to be falling into place the way you thought they would.

With the ANC elective conference going on and the future of the country about to be decided in one weekend, some people may not be feeling that ready to celebrate just yet.

However, if you are in the mood to get down, know in your heart who your president is and are feeling festive here is a list of some of the spots where you are bound to bump into the ANC delegates:

Vilakazi Street in Soweto: The popular tourist street is filled with restaurant­s and bars that will be packed to capacity no doubt. Places like The Wine Bar, Vuyo’s, Sakhumzi, The Box Shop and Kwa Lichaba will be entertainm­ent central.

If you’re looking for a good time outside of the ANC confines, there’s always a shisa nyama ready in the wings, e’Social Link in Emndeni. Clubs and pubs in and around Soweto will also be celebratin­g December in style.

If you want to head out of town to Pretoria, the Soshanguve All White Affair is set to be a hit. If you’ll be playing it safe in the Vaal be sure to make it to the Sedibeng Summer Festival.

Zone 6 in Diepkloof will be having their Authentic All white send off party tomorrow.
