Taking place on May 5, it will be an unbeatable experience with South Africa’s best music talent on a beautiful autumn day.

Huawei and 947 are presenting a day of great music to be enjoyed with the people you love at one of the city’s biggest green spaces, Emmarentia Botanical Gardens.

Emmarentia Park will come alive with the sounds of many of South Africa’s favourite hits performed live in front of thousands of picnickers.

Joburg Day ticks all the boxes for a memorable day out, and the line-up offers something for everyone, from the latest hit-makers to South African music royalty.

There are newcomers such as Lady Zamar and Samthing Soweto & Sun EL Musician, as well as Timo ODV and Goodluck to get you up and dancing, with Matthew Mole, Black Motion and Desmond and the Tutus each bringing their own musical flavour to the occasion.

And with the iconic South African acts Mafikizolo and Mi Casa also in attendance, it’s bound to be a great experience for both young and old.

The gates open at 9am, and the first band will perform at 10.30am. The gates close at 6pm.
