Festival to enjoy and sip the golden nectar

EACH year, whisky lovers, novices and connoisseu­rs alike, gather in solidarity for their love of this golden nectar at the annual Whisky Live events.

Following the recent successful Whisky & Gin Live celebratio­ns in Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban, Whisky Live is poised to hold what is possibly the biggest whisky and spirits festival of all times on November 6 to 8 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The Whisky & Spirits Live celebratio­n brings whisky lovers, connoisseu­rs and new sippers under one roof to taste and learn about a range of whiskies plus a premium selection of rum, vodka, gin and other spirits.

This year’s festival is all about bringing people together to enjoy and create great memories.

Doors open at 5.30pm and the festivitie­s will continue until 10pm.

Guests can expect to experience exciting changes at this year’s festival, from the general layout, revamped corporate hospitalit­y packages to an all-new VIP experience.

The festival will feature an open layout, more accessible social areas, trendy lifestyle products, and live entertainm­ent from various performers throughout the night.

Whisky Live chief executive Kenneth Varejes said that this year’s show promised to create an experience rich in exceptiona­l products and brands that aimed at tantalisin­g your taste buds and offering a unique and enjoyable experience.

Guests would experience a variety of brands, from the award-winning Internatio­nal Bottlers Challenge range through to new and exciting first timers to the event.

The services of the acclaimed event’s company, OrangeBloc­k, have been retained to ensure that the extravagan­za is of a worldclass standard and that guests would enjoy an unforgetta­ble evening.
