INVESTMENT art by top-selling and acclaimed artists including Irma Stern, Anton van Wouw, Ephraim Ngatane and Gregoire Boonzaier is among the diverse lots for 5th Avenue Auctioneer­s’ final 2019 sale of art, antiques and collectabl­es on Sunday at 10am at 404 Jan Smuts Avenue, Craighall Park in Sandton.

Other major artists to be featured include Adriaan Boshoff, Maurice van Essche, Alexander Rose-Innes, WH Coetzer, Moses Kottler, Otto Klar, Tinus and Gabriel de Jongh, Esther Mahlangu, Christiaan Nice, Maud Sumner, Cecil Skotnes, JH Pierneef, Walter Battiss, Dino Paravano, Gordon Vorster, Titta Fasciotti, Hennie Griesel, and Carl Buchner.

Works by Paul du Toit, David Botha, Marjorie Wallace and Johan Oldert will also be on offer.

The 70 lots of interestin­g collectabl­es include estate jewellery, a large collection of bronze sculptures, hallmarked silver, porcelain, ceramics and glassware.

Among the 114 lots of Persian carpets, rugs and runners are pure silk Kashan, Sarough, Mahi Tabriz, antique silk Kashan, Ravar Kerman, Mashad, Nain and Toodeshk items in various sizes, colours and designs.

There are also 30 lots of Victorian, Edwardian and other furniture to be knocked down.

Viewing for the sale is today from 9am to 5pm and tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.
