Stormers get in scrum for elderly

A GROUP of DHL Stormers rugby players visited the Neighbourhood Old Age Home in Woodstock yesterday to remind the elderly that they were not forgotten during these challenging times as they helped unpack 1 354kg of food for the home.

DHL Stormers partnered with Pick n Pay to create awareness around Pick n Pay’s Feed the Nation campaign that continues to support disadvantaged communities.

Springbok Captain Siya Kolisi said: “The wisdom and resilience are received from elderly and it’s time for us to also look after them especially during times like these.”
