Kanye West responds to Kim K’s divorce petition

KANYE West has responded to Kim Kardashian West’s divorce petition.

The couple – who share North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 23 months, together – decided earlier this year to go their separate ways and after Kim filed for divorce from the rapper.

Kanye is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children. Both Kanye and Kim agree there is no need for either of them to pay spousal support. Both have agreed to pay their own legal fees.

Meanwhile, Kim’s mother Kris Jenner insists her and her family have rallied around Kim to offer “support” amid her divorce and are making sure Kim and Kanye’s children are happy.

Kris said: “It’s always going to be hard anytime there’s a lot of kids.

“The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much so all I want is for those two kids to be happy.

“That’s the goal. I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another, and that everyone’s okay. That’s what you want as a mom.”

It comes after it was reported the SKIMS founder wants to open up on the couple’s split to Oprah Winfrey. A source said: “Kim’s gearing up to do a big sit-down interview with Oprah. She feels she needs to face the public and be open and honest about what really happened between her and Kanye, and address the rumour mill.

“She’s biding her time, but she has already been planning the interview and wants it to be a twopart special.

“It will likely happen when all the loose ends of the divorce are tied up.”
