The Megacy goes all out to secure multiple AKA wins
AKA may be gone, but the Megacy, as his fans are affectionately called, threw all their support behind the late rapper, winning him multiple awards at the Metro FM Music Awards 2023.
His fans now face the sobering reality that they will never again see Kiernan “AKA” Forbes take the stage to perform or express his gratitude for their support.
It was also a bleak reminder that this was the last time people would vote for him after he had delivered his chart-topping album, Mass Country.
It brought tears to the eyes of both his family and his followers when the Forbes family entered the stage to accept the prize.

His girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, has also been showing support on social media and interacting with Megacy.

Forbes has never stopped trending on social media since the day he died after a shooting in Durban.
His fans have been demanding justice with the hashtag #JusticeforAKA on social media.
The music star who was gunned down outside Wish Restaurant in Durban has been claiming the trends on social media as his fans call for justice to prevail.
Forbes’s death has been the subject of talks since it was confirmed on February 10.
Before his death, the award-winning star was scheduled to release his eagerly awaited posthumous album, Mass Country.
The album, which is a parting gift to his fans and a love letter to South Africa, has been received with overwhelming love and appreciation.
