Mzwanele Manyi, a former ANC member, became a Twitter trending topic after leaving the ATM and joining the EFF. This was the response on Twitter.
@BraJabuNzi
A nice, calculated move by Jimmy Manyi. Fana Mokoena was in Parliament once and Ringo Mandlingozi followed and both are in the limelight. Why can they not be in Parliament next year after the #GeneralElection2024 ?
@MzwaneleManyi
The fact that someone can flip their entire ideology this fast is giving influencer vibes. We all know Manyi is in it for the money. With these promo tweets he is simply trying to move his audience over to EFF.
@AlbaMokopane
Now that Jimmy Manyi has joined EFF and will be the local praise poet for the cult leader. He is a saint. Watch him being parachuted to Parliament.
@Benizela
Can we remind Mzwanele Manyi what EFF leaders really think about him? Does he really think it’s all forgotten because he joins their overrated party?
@MmuiWabatho
Mzwanele Manyi did not open his own popcorn political party – instead, he joined a revolutionary organisation that fights for people.
@rosemoekoena
The question is, is Jimmy Manyi an asset or liability to the @ EFFSouthAfrica, considering his very close association with the corrupt Guptas?
@UBGK12
The only good thing about Manyi leaving the ATM is that we could see the slow death of that ANCpuppet party. He was pretty much the second half of it, alongside Vuyo Zungula.
@KETSO4LIFE
This looks wonderful, always a pleasure to see black people uniting and working together. Instead of this thing of opening new political parties that are dividing black people. We desperately need black unity to win back our country from the ANC. Welcome home Mr Manyi.
@SebataSanaga70
Hello Vuyo “CR22” Zungula! Why did Manyi get off your dead horse? Has the Gupta project RET met its doomsday? If indeed it did, then by implication, ATM is dead. Please yourself. Carl Niehaus, Arthur
Frazer and Jacob Zuma and all other tribalists and skelms join EFF.
@lindamkhonto_24
Welcome home Mr Manyi! When soldiers are on a battlefield we tag into war. When a soldier has surrendered his ideology and made his decision to make EFF a home, we are no longer enemies but brothers. No one will separate you from EFF but yourself.
