ANC vs MK trended on X after the Electoral Court of South Africa ruled on the ANC versus the MK Party registration dispute. The court ruled that the MK Party was registered legally. This was how people reacted:
@SandileKaMsibi
To those people who said the judiciary was captured by Cyril Ramaphosa, the courts are with Ramaphosa, the ANC controls the judiciary and, by extension, the courts always rule in favour of the ANC. Does this not make you all liars?
@anonymous_unLtd
In the ANC vs MK party matter, we need to be honest that Dali Mpofu almost gave the case away by arguing that the IEC court doesn’t has jurisdiction to hear the matter. If we keep using him, we might not be so lucky next time, I would have preferred Skhakhane as SC #VoteMK2024
@Mqadi99
We wish to congratulate the Electoral Court for coming up with a rational judgment. As the suffering South Africans, we welcome anything that eats the ANC which has become our new oppressors.
@Duncan30414908
Majority control of #ANC gone “period”. I can imagine what would happen after the election even if it won. Parliament would be split many ways. Accountability would be easier.
@MbuyiseloMafil1
Do not be lazy; there are many other names. Leave ANC things. Find yourselves an identity that has nothing to do with ANC. Is that too much to ask? You do not like the ANC, right? Leave and do not look back, take nothing that links you to it. It is that simple.
@PastorBGK
The@MYANC is on the brink of losing power. Rather than confronting the popular MK Party, the ANC should explore the possibility of collaborating with the MK to establish a coalition government. Additionally, the ANC’s legal cases are notably feeble.
@antony_skapura
The Electoral Court judgment on ANC vs MK is a win for South Africa. Anything that eats away at and slowly destroys the evil organisation, called @MYANC, is a win for our country.
@JustDemulcent
This was never the ANC’s strongest case against the MK. It was always bound to fail. Its strongest case is in relation to trade mark infringement. The one to be heard in Durban tomorrow.
@LeboLebo___
Today’s electoral court outcome of ANC vs MK is nothing but a ploy to make us believe the courts are working. Wait for the judgment of the case which will be argued tomorrow (today). They’ll make the MK Party lose.
@UnityInSA
The ANC should have concentrated on competing withthe MK via the ballot box, not via the courts. The ANC took a bit of a hammering here. Trying to stop the MK from competing was ill advised. The MK should get a boost from this ruling. It will also give the MK some good exposure.
