WIRE HANGER TO UNZIP DRESS

When Bonang Matheba tweeted that she slept in her evening gown because there was nobody to unzip her, a lot of people told her she should have used a wire hanger to unzip her dress.

So how do you do it? Internet posters say: “Pull on the bottom of the triangular part so it becomes a diamond shape and then use it as an arm extension – hook the hook part into the zipper opener and closer and just pull up or down.” Voila!

CURLING HAIR WITH A WATER BOTTLE

Don’t have a hair curler? Then simply use a plastic water bottle, apply some heat, you got some serious curls.

First spotted on Facebook, the technique has been emulated by beauty bloggers who have shared tips on how to do it.

Cut the top off a recycled plastic bottle and create a rectangular incision that’s about the same size as the nozzle on your hairdryer. Place a section of your hair (about 5cm in diameter) inside the bottle. Place the hairdryer nozzle inside the incision and blast hair for about eight seconds.

PANTS UNZIP WHEN YOU DON’T WANT THEM TO?

Use a keyring to secure the zipper to the button. Simply attach the keyring, zip up your pants, and place the keyring over the button. Then, button your pants like normal, and boom. You’re in the clear.
