What’s the first thing you do when you arrive back in Joburg from out of town? Take a shower :-)
Best meal you’ve had in Joburg? The newly located Polpetta in Rivonia Road

And what local TV show are you loving right now? How Do I Look? SA (obvs!)
What’s the last South African movie you watched? Baby Mamas.
And the last play? Not a play but the JHB ballet.
When was the last time you attended a music concert/ festival and who was performing? Katy Perry was the most recent, in July.
What’s your earliest memory of Joburg? I think the Jacarandas in bloom around the parks.
If you were mayor for the day, what would you do? Try and assist all the homeless as best I could.
Your favourite hangout spot in the city? Maboneng.
The best-kept secret in the city? My salon in the south: Treatment Couture.
Where is the best place to let your hair down? Good Luck Bar in Fox Street.
Who do you call when you want to have fun, and where in the city do you go? If hubby is with me it’s always a good time.
Your favourite coffee shop? Naked Coffee.
Favourite place to shop at in Joburg? Sandton City.
Vilakazi Street (Soweto), Maboneng Precinct (Johannesburg CBD), Menlyn (Pretoria) or 4th Avenue (Parkhurst). Which do you prefer and why? Maboneng for its authenticity and grit.
Which is your favourite market in Gauteng and why? Kamers Makers when it comes to town.
Which building in Joburg would you love to own and why? The 360 degree view at the top of the Carlton Centre.
Which building would you like to be locked in overnight, and why? Rand Club in town to find out some secrets.
What’s the one thing people need to stop doing in the city? Mugging people.
Where is the best view of Joburg? The Four Seasons in spring still has an epic view of the largest man-made forest.
Best place for a nightcap? San Deck in Sandton.
What’s the one thing that differentiates Joburg from other cities in SA? The energy that never stops.
Where would you suggest first-time visitors to the city go to get the best experience of the city? I would start with the red bus tour.
