MO­TOR­SPORT South Africa (MSA) has an­nounced the re­sults of a sur­vey to change the dates of the Roof.

The over­whelm­ing ma­jor­ity of crews voted to move the event from the cur­rent Novem­ber date to De­cem­ber.

The sur­vey re­sults had 82% or 372 peo­ple vote for De­cem­ber, while 82 peo­ple were happy to keep the Novem­ber date un­changed.

Ac­cord­ingly, the 2018 Roof of Africa will be held from De­cem­ber 6 to 8.

The date for the Bronze Qual­i­fier re­mains un­changed on the May 12. MSA said sup­ple­men­tary reg­u­la­tions will be out by in early March, and en­tries will open shortly there­after.

WFO — The Na­tal WFO En­duro As­so­ci­a­tion will cel­e­brate its 40-year an­niver­sary when Mid Illovo Club hosts the open­ing round of the WFO En­duro Re­gional Cham­pi­onship on Satur­day.

EN­DURO — The Powa­sol Ex­treme En­duro at Lake Eland on Satur­day.

DRIFTKHANA — Lo­cal driv­ers will com­pete in a Spin­fest on Fe­bru­ary 24 at Ma­son’s Mill.

CROSS COUN­TRY— Eshowe hosts the na­tion­als and re­gional leg of the event. on March 2 to 3.
