Au­di­tions for kids’ cook­ing show

SEA­SON three of the South African Film and Tele­vi­sion Award­win­ning se­ries re­turns to Dis­ney Chan­nel (DStv chan­nel 303) in 2019.

Pre­mier­ing later in the year, the se­ries will be get­ting a new film­ing lo­ca­tion and new tal­ent. Dis­ney Africa plans to host au­di­tions for kids aged 10 to 13.

is a fun, in­ter­ac­tive cook­ing show where the “cook­tes­tants” go on ad­ven­tures to learn where food comes from, be­fore bat­tling it out in the kitchen us­ing the in­gre­di­ent of the day.

It was pre­vi­ously filmed in and around the Western Cape, but will now be mov­ing to Gaut­eng where Dis­ney Africa and pro­duc­tion house Pen­guin Films will hold the au­di­tions.

Pre­sen­ters Kirsten Mo­hamed and Mthunzi Ntoyi re­turn as the hosts and, to­gether with the cook­tes­tants, will un­cover new culi­nary de­lights over 18 episodes.

At the end of the com­pe­ti­tion, two win­ners will be crowned and each of them will take home the cov­eted tro­phy as well as

R50 000 to be do­nated to­wards a project at their school.
