Auditions for kids’ cooking show
SEASON three of the South African Film and Television Awardwinning series returns to Disney Channel (DStv channel 303) in 2019.
Premiering later in the year, the series will be getting a new filming location and new talent. Disney Africa plans to host auditions for kids aged 10 to 13.
is a fun, interactive cooking show where the “cooktestants” go on adventures to learn where food comes from, before battling it out in the kitchen using the ingredient of the day.
It was previously filmed in and around the Western Cape, but will now be moving to Gauteng where Disney Africa and production house Penguin Films will hold the auditions.
Presenters Kirsten Mohamed and Mthunzi Ntoyi return as the hosts and, together with the cooktestants, will uncover new culinary delights over 18 episodes.
At the end of the competition, two winners will be crowned and each of them will take home the coveted trophy as well as
R50 000 to be donated towards a project at their school.
