Casablanca on the other hand ex­pe­ri­enced a re­cov­ery in 2016. Although oc­cu­pancy de­creased by 2 points, ADR in­creased by 12% back to pre­cri­sis level push­ing the REVPAR up by 8.4%. The cor­po­rate seg­ment fed the tourism growth and the open­ing of the Four Sea­sons in 2015 in­duced de­mand from high-spend­ing mar­kets (GCC) and pushed the ADR up. Although they are not back to pre-cri­sis lev­els, val­ues in Casablanca in­creased sig­nif­i­cantly and it is likely to con­tinue in 2017.
