TRI-AD’S mis­sion is to use cut­tingedge ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence to pro­duce au­to­mated driv­ing prod­ucts. “Cars of the fu­ture will be­come more soft­ware than hard­ware,” says its CEO, Dr James Kuffner. “With au­to­mated driv­ing soft­ware, we’re talk­ing about many mil­lions of lines of code which re­quire an in­cred­i­bly high level of ro­bust­ness and re­li­a­bil­ity.”

TRI-AD will re­cruit more than 1 000 em­ploy­ees glob­ally, skilled in com­puter sci­ence, com­puter vi­sion and 3D per­cep­tion, ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence and ma­chine learn­ing, au­to­mated driv­ing sys­tems ar­chi­tec­ture, ad­vanced safety sys­tems and soft­ware, or busi­ness de­vel­op­ment.
