PRAYER FOR NEW BEGINNINGS:

Dear Lord, Thank you for new beginnings. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning. I thank you that you are the God of the second, third and fourth chance. Your love is from everlasting to everlasting. You are the beginning and the end. This is the day that you have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Give us this day our daily bread. You are the God of every day, every month, every season and every year. Thank you that in this new season there is fresh grace, mercy, and provision for each new day. Create within us a clean heart, and put a new spirit within us. Help us to hold on to the good things that have made us who we are, but to let go of dead things that no longer serve a fruitful purpose in our lives. Lord we commit all our days to you. Do a new thing in our lives that brings joy, love, light and hope to all we encounter, and unite us into a beautiful rainbow nation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
