OMPHEMETSE KATHLEEN MATSHIDISO Age: Occupation:

65

Retired Nurse

Onthatile Matshidiso, daughter to Mama Omphemetse, would like to see her mom reinvent herself as an entrepreneur. “I want her to embrace the change with a new look,” she says.

MAKE-UP

“I kept her face clean by applying Black Opal True Color Foundation to give her a youthful look, with a sweet pink eyeshadow to highlight her brown eyes. I shaped her brows and applied blush to highlight her cheeks, and topped it off with a popping pink lipstick to keep things chic,” says make-up artist Faith Seuoe.

HAIR

Mama Omphemetse’s hair was washed, treated and blow dried at the Hair & Chats Spa Salon. It was also curled for a simple, yet classy style.

EXPERIENCE

How did you feel after the makeover?

“I felt confident because my blemishes were concealed. The highlight was the facial transformation from an expert make-up artist.”

What did you love about your makeover?

“The coordination of the knits and pleated skirt was great. I never thought drop earrings could look good on me, but they worked wonders. And the shoes were gorgeous and comfortable!”

What fashion or beauty lessons did you learn?

“I asked the expert for tips on how to apply my own make-up. Faith taught me how to use a big brush to define and add volume my lashes.”
