CHEERS TO OCTOBER
Create your own frosé (frozen rosé) with the Steenberg Rosé 2018. Light and flirty, this wine is a blend of Syrah and Cinsault, and combines watermelon sorbet, toffee apples, red licorice candy and ripe sweet melon fragrances.
To create a frosé: Simmer 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar, star anise, cinnamon and peppercorns. Stir to dissolve sugar and infuse the spices for 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Add 11/2 cups of Steenberg Rosé 2018, handful of chopped mixed raspberries, and strawberries and place in a freezerproof container overnight. Blend in a food processor and pour into glasses.
