LUNCH BOX IDEAS FOR THE KIDS
Packing lunch for kids should never be daunting. The trick? Make food they enjoy and cut it into different shapes to excite them. Here are some ideas to try!
FUSSY-EATER STRIPS
Makes: 2 portions Prep time: 30 mins Ingredients 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 egg, beaten
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs Oil, for frying
Cheese spread Store-bought frozen waffles Chocolate and nut spread Kiwi fruit

Method
1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Dip the chicken into the egg, then into breadcrumbs to cover. Place on a greased oven tray and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
2. Drizzle oil over the chicken strips, place in oven and bake for 10 minutes on each side.
3. Toast the waffles in a toaster or place in oven, and toast on grill until golden brown. Spread with the chocolate and nut spread.
4. Pack the chicken with cheese spread, fruits and drinking yoghurt.
