Age: 35 Occupation: Business development consultant Sebolelo has worked in the financial industry for 14 years, and is usually in formal wear due to the nature of her job. “During my downtime, I’m all about jeans, shorts and tees. I asked for a makeover because I wanted to see how beauty and fashion work hand in hand, and to switch up my wardrobe a bit by adding some fun elements,” Sebolelo says.

MAKE-UP

“To highlight Sebolelo’s beautiful cheekbones, I applied liquid primer to set her make-up, followed by foundation and powder. I did a classic contoured eye, with a little bit of a terra cotta (to soften it), gold and copper. I defined the eyebrows with a brown brow pencil. On the cheeks, I used a cream blusher and highlighter with an orange undertone, and finished off her look with purple lipstick and a touch of gloss,” says make-up artist Faith Seuoe.

HAIR

“Sebolelo’s soft hair made my job easy. I created the cornrows using Darling Yaki Braid hairpiece. I liked the effect because it further accentuated her stunning cheekbones. You can wear this style loose or tied up into a pony,” says hairstylist Bomzi Lekgoro.
