KABELO'S HEALTH CENTRE
Kwaito star Kabelo Mabalane stakes his space in the fitness world with the launch of a health and fitness store in Sandton. Named after Khumo, his first-born son, Kumo Life SA, is a one-stop shop that houses physiotherapists and dieticians, as well as a sports and health store. "It's for people who've just come off their couch, and want to get serious about their health and well-being. I started this business to motivate people who are as unfit as I was back in 2005," Kabelo shares. The centre opened its doors in June.
OLD KHAKI – NEW TWIST
You'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to urban casual wear, thanks to Old Khaki's latest range. It features iconic '70s and '80s silhouettes, but with a contemporary update. For starters, expect check jumpsuits, furry jackets in bomber and longer-length cuts, branded sweat tops and tracksuits in the most heavenly fabrics. Or, take your pick of corduroy in the shape of jackets, pants and skirts. The knitwear has also been kicked up a notch with animal prints, applique branding, roller necks in vibrant and colour-blocking shades. We're also loving the maxi dress collection, inspired by this season's floral trend – it will become a staple, very soon!
