30 ml butter

250 ml sugar

2 eggs

30 ml vinegar

10 ml bicarbonat­e of soda

60 ml apricot jam

500 ml cake flour

250 ml milk

Pinch salt

500 ml evaporated milk

1 cup boiling water

60 ml butter

45 ml vanilla essence


1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Cream the butter, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Mix vinegar and bicarbonat­e add of soda, then jam.

2. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add creamed and jam butter mixtures and pour milk soft batter. to form

3. Pour batter into prepared cups and bake 25 minutes or for until golden brown.

4. Sauce: bring evaporated milk, butter water, sugar, and vanilla essence to stirring boil, simmer frequently.

5. Pour the sauce immediatel­y malva when removing from the oven. When serve cooled down, with custard.
