Quinn’s got a surprise for Wyatt andd BillBill… but are the two men ready to hear it?

old & Beautiful’s had loads of paternity shock reveals. Brace yourselves, because another one’s on the way. Thanks to crafty Hope (Kim Matula), Bill (Don Diamont) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) “accidentally” bump into one another on Wednesday 13 August – but does Bill expect what’s coming next? No way – Quinn confesses that Bill is the father of her son Wyatt (Darin Brooks). But how did Hope figure it out? She was on a mission from the instant that she noticed Wyatt wearing a sword necklace identical to the ones Bill and Liam (Scott Clifton) wear. But with the two men in Hope’s lives – Wyatt and Liam – both wanting her affections, now that the cat’s out the bag she may wish that she’d never meddled in the first place… Don says that he raised an eyebrow when he was told that his character was getting a surprise TV son. “When I first heard of it, I said, ‘Really? A grown son’s just going to pop up?’ But the more Spencers, the better – I think it’s great! I also think that it’s wonderful for Scott [Clifton] to have a new conflict on the series.”

But what about poor Wyatt, learning that his dad is evil Bill? “He’s been told all these lies and it can really put your mind in a tailspin,” explains Darin. “Then you find out you have a brother and all these family members and this hidden life that has been kept from you. He is angry!” And guess what – there’s no brotherly love when the boys both go after Hope, says Scott. “We’ve been doing the same triangle [Liam-Hope-Steffy] for two-anda-half years now and what’s nice about this is that we still have the same triangle – there is still conflict. But it’s just that the points of the triangle have now shifted.”
