Marriage meltdown
Sbu and Thandeka’s love goes sour, so Thandeka goes back to KZN to decide what to do about it.

Marriage isn’t easy, as Sbu and his wife Thandeka (Sdumo Mtshali and Nomzamo Mbatha) have found out. There have always been cracks in their relationship due to their feuding families, but now things are going from bad to worse. Thandeka’s still head over heels for her co-worker Don (Lawrence Maleka), while Sbu’s fighting the guilt of his infidelity with Lerato (Florence Mokgatsi). Will they overcome their relationship problems or is this marriage doomed to fail? But before Thandeka leaves, she stops by her office on Thursday 26 November and realises that she’s the subject of office gossip: everyone knows about her and Don, making her an office joke. Happily for viewers, Sdumo reveals that Sbu and Thandeka aren’t likely to end up with the two people they’ve cheated with. “Lerato and Don are obstacles in Sbu and Thandeka’s marriage. Very little will come of their relationships with Lerato and Don,” he insists, adding that “Sbu and Thandeka saw Lerato and Don as people to lust after and people to talk about their problems with.” Iris demands more fare money from her drivers because she thinks that they’re cheating her and pocketing the cash. The Zungus buy brand-new minibuses for their booming business, Thandeka faces trouble in the office as dating a co-worker is seen as taboo, and elsewhere, Iris harasses a taxi driver when she finds out that he’s been making a profit on the side. Thandeka’s had enough of her failing marriage and is embarrassed to return to work, so she goes to KZN to be with her family – but she’s unaware that Sbu’s following her in an effort to try win her back. Meanwhile, a taxi driver reports Iris for being a bully, forcing Samson to step in and resolve the issue. Elsewhere, Blade gets info that Qondi and Fezile had a secret meeting in Joburg and he immediately alerts Bhekifa to Qondi’s whereabouts.
