Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is still living with the consequences of her terrible decision to hire a stalker to break up Chad and Melanie (Casey Deidrick and Molly Burnett) this year. But it’s about to be eclipsed by a disastrous new mess: she found out on Monday 23 November that she’s pregnant and on Tuesday 24 November, the truth sank in – with the timing of her pregnancy, there’s no way that her new lover Nick (Blake Berris) could be the father. And that means that “she is pregnant with a gay man’s baby. That’s a big thing,” says Camila. With neither her nor babydaddy Will (Chandler Massey) emotionally equipped to be parents right now, Gabi sees only one way out. That’s until Nick comes up with a jaw-dropping suggestion… Gabi and they can’t help laughing. It’ll never work and nor will adoption – neither Will’s family nor Gabi’s would ever let them give up their baby. So Gabi brings up the only option they believe they have left: abortion. But on Thursday 3 November, despite Will’s support and the kindness of the staff at the Planned Parenthood clinic, she can’t go through with it. Everyone found out that Nicole had lied about Jennifer killing her baby, EJ became Sami’s boss, and Gabi found out that she’s pregnant. Brady tells John that he’s an idiot for defending Kristen – the woman who’s tried to kill Marlena. Kristen leaves John an urgent message about Brady being knocked out by a mugger while trying to protect her but Marlena erases it without listening first. EJ asks Sami if she can handle him being her new boss at Wilhelmina, while John and Marlena rush to the hospital when they find out that Brady has been admitted. Meanwhile, Hope learns that Caroline’s coming home after successful treatment of her Alzheimer’s. Marlena confesses to John that she deleted Kristen’s messages and Brady thinks that he might’ve misjudged Kristen, but when they’re alone Kristen thanks Marlena for playing into her hands. Nicole sets about mending fences with Daniel and Jennifer, while Brady breaks up a fight after Kristen catches Marlena snooping in her hotel room. Elsewhere, Will’s confession that he’s the father of Gabi’s baby surprises Nick.
