Scandal! Weekdays e.tv 19:30

A devastating personal betrayal on Thursday 3 December sets Thembeka (Masasa Mbangeni) on the warpath and on Friday 4 December, she tells her former BFF Naledi (Dineo Moeketsi) that she’s dead to her. But when Thembeka brings their private fight into the boardroom on Monday 7 December, demanding that Naledi resign after Quinton (Brighton Ngoma) refuses to fire her, the lines are drawn. “She knows what she did is wrong, but Thembeka bullying Naledi to this extent is actually very wrong,” says Dineo. “Naledi is a consummate professional.” It’s the moment that Layla (Natasha Sutherland) has been waiting (and plotting) for and Tuesday 8 December sees the beginning of a glamorous, dangerous partnership to take down Thembeka! to need an ally because you may not realise it, but war has been waged on you’,” explains Dineo. “Naledi is a bit confused, because she went to university with Thembeka and this isn’t the person she studied with.” But if Thembeka wants war, Naledi will bring it. “Naledi delves into vengefulness and that’s what drives the partnership with Layla. She has an ally and thinks that she can take on her friend Thembeka because she doesn’t believe her to be that ruthless or that intense!” says Dineo, with her dubious tone making it clear that she doesn’t share Naledi’s confidence. “As she goes along, she finds tiny incentives that keep her close to Layla.” Boitshoko has a confession for Mlu, and Zinzile opens her heart with a generous invitation to Boitshoko and Omphile. Boitshoko writes a letter for Omphile to read later but she picks the wrong hiding place for it, and Tsatsi gets hold of Yolandi’s phone number. Thembeka’s “clever” trap to catch cheating Quinton backfires, and run, singletons, run – Gloria is launching a dating agency! Scelo suggests a way for Boitshoko to comfort Omphile, and family affairs finally seem to be settling when a shocking change of fortunes strikes the Ngema household. We find out that Naledi has a secret agenda, and remember how Thembeka arranged for Quinton to walk in on his mom Layla in bed with Prince Todani back in November last year? It’s payback time! Staff are in the firing line when business gets personal at NFH, Stokkies goes on his first date through Gloria’s agency, and Tsatsi’s effort to reunite Yolanda and Stokkies is met with resistance. Quinton talks Naledi out of a career-damaging decision, while Thembeka’s set to stand by her man, no matter what. Gloria proves to be a true friend when she’s needed most, Stokkies gets a makeover, and the Ngemas are baffled about what to do to shake Omphile out of her tragic delusion about her mother.
