Rose dumps Jafta for a new man
Rose leaves Jafta for her new man and Sis’Bee is ready to comfort his broken heart.
When Rose (Elizabeth Serunye) comes back on Tuesday 12 January from visiting her sick mother, no one is more shaken to see her again than her former BFF Sis’Bee (Thembise Matu). She and Rose’s hubby Jafta (Sandile Dlamini) got together while Rose was away and Sis’Bee knows that as soon as Rose is home, Jafta’s going to welcome her back with open arms. “It’s great to have her back,” says Sandile. “When the cat’s away, the mouse plays, but he and Rose have come a long way and he will always welcome her back.” But perhaps Rose doesn’t want to be welcomed back, as Sis’Bee finds out upon Rose’s return. She’s been having some fun of her own and is now in love with another man.
TABLES TURN
When Jafta finds out about Rose’s guy on the side from his best friend Kop (Setlabi Taunyane) on Wednesday 13 January, he’s beside himself. “He noticed that Rose was more relaxed upon her return but he’d never have guessed that it has something to do with another man,” says Sandile. “He doesn’t believe Kop until he hears straight from the horse’s mouth on Thursday 14 January.” Jafta promises to stop seeing Sis’Bee but Rose isn’t interested in his relationship with her former friend and explains that her relationship has nothing to do with him and Sis’Bee, much to Jafta’s surprise.
MOVING ON
“Jafta thought that Rose was playing his game and got herself a man because although no one’s told her, even though they were keeping it on the down low, Rose knows that Sis’Bee and Jafta are still seeing each other,” Sandile explains. “Jafta’s torn apart when Rose reveals that she’s with this other man because he treats her better than Jafta.” But he’s about to feel worse when Rose makes a shock announcement that has their daughter Mampho (Itumeleng Bokaba) intervening on Friday 15 January.
FAREWELL… FOREVER!
Mampho tells her mom to follow her heart – even if that means her leaving her family and being with her new boyfriend. “Jafta knows nothing about this man except that he’s a taxi driver and that his family has already met Rose,” says Sandile. “Rose is gone and he’s torn apart, but Sis’Bee is always a shoulder to cry on and is ready to take her place…”
