Things aren’t looking good between Lincoln and Katlego as their marriage is going downhill. To make things worse, Katlego experiences painful complications during her pregnancy. Zukisa moves into the penthouse to help Katlego in her final trimester and a frustrated Katlego moves into the baby’s nursery so that she doesn’t have to deal with Lincoln. Samantha’s doing all that she can to make sure Bradley sees her as his girlfriend but Tiffany has plans to keep her man out of Sam’s clutches. Meanwhile, Aphiwe is happy about Calvin’s return and hopes to start a relationship with him but her obsession with Calvin goes too far, affecting her relationship with her brother S’khu. Nina decides to turn over a new leaf and meets up with Katlego to apologise and start a new chapter but Nikiwe warns Katlego about being too buddy-buddy with the former enemy. Elsewhere, Rajesh and Bradley clash over business, while Jean-Marc and Angie agree to be just friends.
MARCH: BRAD THE CAD
Katlego goes into labour this month but childbirth won’t be easy for the new mom-to-be. While the Sibekos are preparing to welcome the new heir into their family, Calvin’s making headway with deciphering the memory stick that contains clues to his dad’s killer. Angelique finds info about the cigarette syndicate and money laundering that could put Barker in jail… permanently. Elsewhere, Sechaba and Lerato hit another bump in the road while planning for their big day and this bump is going to take a lot of their time and money. Sam’s left in tears when Bradley friendzones her and chooses Tiffany as his girlfriend. Katlego approaches Nina and accepts her apology but heeds Nikiwe’s warning. Later, Barker plans to get rid of Angelique before she destroys him, and Aphiwe learns that she has competition for Calvin’s attention.
APRIL: TRAUMA & TEARS
The Sibeko baby isn’t in good hands and it’s not made better when Nikiwe flies to New York to be by her brother’s side after he’s in a car accident. Calvin’s behaviour towards Aphiwe changes and he starts opening up to Angelique and later in April, Calvin decides to put his love life on hold for a “higher” calling. Elsewhere in Horizon Deep, Samantha moves on from Bradley and befriends Rajesh to try secure herself a position in Haines International, while Charlie tries to fix her relationship with Samantha. Later, Tiffany’s days are numbered and Samantha decides to leave OnTV.
