Dintle (Mapaseka Koetle) has been on the move since she and Mangi (Kagiso Modupe) faked their divorce on Tuesday 10 May. Her first new home, The Newtonian hotel, was everything that she’d dreamt of. “She wants someone to clean after her, she wants room service, she wants to go for massages… The moment that she moved in, she forgot totally about Mangi,” says Mapaseka. However, her father-in-law Lucas (Sello Maake Ka Ncube) ended that the moment he got her colossal hotel bill, leaving Dintle scrambling for a place to stay. Dintle is a terrible flatmate – remember when she was caught trying on Thembeka’s (Masasa Mbangeni) wedding dress in June 2015? But when Anzani and Lerumo (Fulu Mugovhani and Tshepo Mosese) land in a financial pickle, she weasels her way into being their livein nightmare on Tuesday 31 May. Anzani and Lerumo put up a flyer at their local hangout Qs, advertising for tenants to help pay their bond on Thembeka’s old flat, not expecting who’ll come begging. They try to lie their way out of taking in Dintle but you can’t con a con and all too soon they’re living with her and their other new tenant, ex-jailbird Stokkies (Wayne van Rooyen), who is easily the better tenant. “When Dintle wants to move in, she’s so sweet, saying she will clean, she will cook, because she’s desperate. But once she is in, things change,” laughs Mapaseka. “Anzani has housekeeping rules, like we take turns to cook, clean and do laundry, but Dintle’s not happy with that. She’s like, ‘Why can’t we have a maid?’ So when Dintle notices Stokkies checking her out during their first dinner together, she starts flirting and saying things like, ‘I don’t like cooking, can you cook for me? I don’t like cleaning, I’m busy, please do this for me’,” Mapaseka says in a baby voice. But after Dintle’s little secret is exposed on Friday 3 June, she’s suddenly the one bringing Stokkies cookies and coffee to get back into his good books. And on Tuesday 7 June, a dropped cookie leads Stokkies to a shocking find in Anzani and Lerumo’s sofa that sends Dintle’s manipulative skills into overdrive. The judge hands down the verdict in Thembeka’s case, then Quinton and Thembeka have a massive showdown when another Thembeka secret slips out. Mary confronts Scelo about the mess he’s created with her family, and Ndu comes up with a solution to Gloria’s dilemma.

Quinton has a meltdown, and Mangi finds out that Layla’s having a dangerous affair. Lucas confronts Layla about a juicy rumour, Layla realises that Lucas is using Mangi to get to Hector, and Lucas enlists Romeo in his attack on Hector. Anzani and Lerumo are horrified at the thought of living near Dintle when she comes begging for a place to stay. Dintle moves into her new place but turns her nose up at her new flatmate, while Ndu warns Stokkies not to fall for feminine flirting. Prompted by failing a Father Of The Year Test, Mlu asks his kids if he’s a good dad but he’s left in the cold as the kids crowd round their newly arrived Uncle Dollar. Lucas gets the wrong end of the stick when he gossips to Layla about Hector and Naledi’s relationship. Mlu’s brother Uncle Dollar is a hit with the crowd at Qs, and Dintle wants her cut when Stokkies makes a lucky find.
