Zukisa catches her hubby Sizwe mid-romp with his co-worker.

The Zondile home is a warzone on Tuesday 31 May when loving wife Zukisa (Noluthando Nqayi) walks in on her hubby Sizwe (Jet Novuka) in bed with his sleazy new colleague Morongwa (Sosy Runku). But it’s been a long time coming…
Zukisa suspects on Wednesday 25 May that something’s up when Sizwe’s behaviour changes. But does she realise that his eye has strayed to Morongwa? “Zukisa despises her because of her attitude and the type of women she is,” Noluthando says. “But because Zukisa is a woman of God, she believes that she can help her and give Morongwa a second chance to be a better woman, not a ‘loose woman’.” Sizwe is left uneasy by his wife’s questions about his behaviour on Thursday 26 May, but that doesn’t keep him from his new love on Friday 27 May. Meanwhile, Zukisa turns to the one person she can trust – God – and later on Friday 27 May, she walks into the shebeen and she starts a mini prayer meeting for the lovers. And she’s got support from The Deep’s religious leader Pastor Gabriel (Aubrey Poo). “Gabriel plays a huge part in supporting Zukisa, but he’s also responsible for introducing Morongwa to Sizwe,” Noluthando says.
After praying on what to do, Zukisa moves into the Sibeko penthouse on Monday 30 May after her boss Lincoln (Lindani Nkosi) offers her a place to stay. Desperate to fix things, she visits Sizwe at home the next day, Tuesday 31 May… which is when she finds him with Morongwa. “She’s betrayed, traumatised, heartbroken! Zukisa’s world falls apart,” Noluthando laments. While he chases after Zukisa when she stomps out on Wednesday 1 June, it’s going to take a lot to make her listen to what Sizwe has to say. “She doesn’t want revenge. She also doesn’t want to hear him out. She never thought that this day would come, that Sizwe would sin like this,” Noluthando says. While Zukisa returns to the penthouse to pray and look for answers, she’s also worried about what the church elders will say should her marriage end in divorce. Not that troubled households are anything new to Isidingo’s “quiet” mining town…
At the penthouse, Tyson asks his brother-inlaw Lincoln what really happened to his sister Katlego and where she is, while Rajesh uses social media to attack Sam and Haines International, leading to an intervention by a worried Angelique and Eddie. Kamohelo wants to know more about Aphiwe and she gets the information from Charlie, then Kamohelo drops jaws when she arrives for church wearing an inappropriate outfit. Sizwe tries to beg for Zukisa’s forgiveness and it seems that bed-hopping Morongwa’s over him too – she charms Pastor Gabriel into giving her a bigger share of the insurance commission. Later, Calvin probes Lincoln’s abrupt closure of Mineshaft 8, and Nina schemes to lift the lid on Pastor Gabriel and his scam. NB! See more on 45!
