44-year-old’s full name is Joshua Lucas Easy Dent Maurer. His nurse mom Michele and ER doctor dad Don where anti-nuclear activists and they moved around a lot – Josh was actually born on a Native American reservation.

the “Easy Dent” part comes from, Josh jokes that “apparently my birth was really easy and I shot out and hit my head on the bedpost, denting it”.

wanted to do – he even skipped going to college after graduating high school in 1989 so that he could move to Hollywood to make a career.

of the camera now, after 17-plus years in the business, he recalls his big break on 2000 movie American Psycho with Christian Bale: “I’m with Willem Dafoe in the van on the way to set and I say, ‘I’m really nervous.’ Dafoe turns back at me: ‘Man, I am too!’”
