AUGUST: PILLS & POTIONS
Getty’s troubles drive her to drink, and Karabo finds that her reunion with the son she thought was dead isn’t what she expected it to be. Having a doctor in the house is a blessing and a curse when Karabo’s addiction rears its ugly head thanks to the stress she’s facing. Meanwhile, Tshidi, who’s just lost everything, begs her tormentor Jack to assist her, not realising that he is behind her pain. There’s a shocking incident at the Morokas that shakes the family, and Mazwi may get his heir sooner than he expected when Sphe take a pregnancy test – but things may not go exactly as he’d hoped. While Mazwi is looking forward to a new addition, Tau is obsessed with Thapelo but Karabo isn’t feeling the same and this leads her to do the unthinkable. Wandile gets another beating, Namhla struggles to find work, and husbandand-wife Mazwi and Sphe face rough waters but she’s prepared to withstand the drama.
SEPTEMBER: STOLEN KISSES, HITS & MISSES
Tshidi and Gadaffi are still hell-bent on getting their baby back from Tau and Karabo. Gadaffi is ready to risk everything he has in the name of revenge, leaving Tshidi in the clutches of a conniving Jack – for now. Getty seems to have moved on quickly when she shares an unexpected kiss with someone who may just be after her money and not her heart, while love is in the air for Wandile as he considers giving a relationship a chance. Sphe packs her bags and moves out of the Moroka house, shocking her brother Fana, but nothing could prepare her for the surprise that lies ahead.
Tau is left feeling useless but he isn’t ready to ask for help yet – and least of all from his sister. Elsewhere, Getty is falling hard and fast for her new lover, but the situation becomes complicated when Wandile catches him stealing. Gog’Flo has a thing or two to say about Getty’s relationship but the stubborn youngster won’t listen, and Tshidi’s conscience is catching up with her – in the middle of losing the thing most precious to her, Tshidi suddenly remembers that her mom is locked up because of her, but will she release her mother now that the baby secret is out? Mazwi and Nolwazi seem to be finding their way back to each other, but that leaves Sphe in the middle. Tau later finds out Thapelo won’t be a Moroka heir, and Nolwazi loses her job.
