AUGUST: LOVE & DOUBT

Ma’Kunutu finds herself in a tight spot after receiving a life- changing phonecall. She’s also starting to doubt her relationsh­ip with Alfred after a chat with someone with ulterior motives. There’s trouble for Pretty when she catches out the class thief and tries to be smart about exposing him. Enhle’s plans are ruined by an unexpected visitor on campus who turns Tbose’s life upside- down as well, and Ma’Ntuli and Ma’Kunutu are united over a common fear as they find themselves in a hostile environmen­t. Rachel finds an unexpected shoulder to cry on during her time of distress, while two sworn enemies put aside their past issues to defeat a common enemy. Someone is about to be stabbed in the back, and Kat finds love when a pretty girl catches his eye, but when he tells Koko, her response is surprising.

SEPTEMBER: FREE AT LAST!

Lelo is getting the chance she’s been waiting for, but Kwaito and Ma’Ntuli aren’t about to let her ruin their lives again and rush to stop her release from being approved. Meanwhile, newmom Lelo is planning her life outside of prison with babydaddy Mangaliso and their daughter, but there’s still Mangaliso’s current squeeze Elizabeth to deal with. A determined Ma’Ntuli is in trouble at work for trekking off to Joburg on her mission to keep Lelo behind bars, and Leeto gets himself into more trouble and leaves his wife and family in the dark about his situation, while Lelo reveals her plan.

Kat’s love life takes an unexpected turn when the classroom becomes a battlegrou­nd and love turns to war, while Charity returns home but Kat and Koko are on edge with her in the house. Elizabeth does the unthinkabl­e as the fight with Lelo for Mangaliso continues, and later a surprising visitor threatens Elizabeth and Mangaliso’s already fragile relationsh­ip.

OCTOBER

There’s drama ahead for Ma’Kunutu. Skeem Saam wasn’t able to provide episode synopses for this month due to its tight production schedule.
