DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

Season 1 Vuzu AMP (*103) 20:30 The name Victor Garber may not be known worldwide, but if you look at all the famous roles he’s played on TV and in movies, you’ll probably recognise his face. And thanks to sci-fi show DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (2016-current), it’s a face we’re seeing a lot of in his role as Professor Martin Stein, better known by his superhero alias Firestorm.

Victor’s TV career is certainly on 1

fire! Besides Legends Of Tomorrow, he’s played Prof Stein in multiple episodes of The Flash (2014-current) in 2015 and let’s not forget the role that made him famous: Jack Bristow in 105 episodes of spy series Alias (2001-2006).

co-star Jennifer Garner and her now-ex-hubby Ben Affleck – and they adore him! Victor is godfather to their daughter Violet (10).

The 67-year-old Canadian, who’s 3

But his life hasn’t been all sunshine 5

and roses. He’s had type 1 diabetes since he was 12 and is a proud supporter of diabetes support groups, saying, “We knew very little about it and it was difficult to accept, but now it’s important to talk about the disease, especially to children who are traumatised and think that their lives are over.”

And when asked to name his most 6

difficult role, Victor confesses that learning to speak with an Irish accent to play shipbuilder Thomas Andrews in 1997 epic film Titanic was “taxing”.
