Siseko Langa’s (Hlomla Dandala) wife Boniswa (Lusanda Mbane) is a dignified, professional lady. But even ladies have their limits. We’ll see the gloves come off after Boniswa, who’s been running her own business and raising the Langa children back in Bisho in the Eastern Cape, catches wind from Siseko’s PA Layla (Natasha Sutherland) on Monday 19 December that her husband is up to no good with Yvonne Thebe (Kgomotso Christopher).

IT’S NOT ABOUT HER

After Boniswa arrives back in town on Tuesday 20 December, her focus is going to be more on Siseko than Yvonne though. “Boniswa isn’t really the kind who puts the blame on the other woman,” explains Lusanda. “Her husband is the person who should be loyal to her. Previously, Siseko has always been able to say that he’s been dealing with Yvonne for her daughter Naledi’s (Dineo Moeketsi) sake. But now there’s no Naledi in the picture and yet he’s still concerned about Yvonne. He should not be concerned about her at all. She is having to admit to herself that there is more to how he feels about Yvonne than Siseko is letting on.”

KISS YOU OFF

Boniswa plants a kiss on her hubby Siseko for all to see. While Boniswa doesn’t glam up to take on her rival – that’s not who she is either – she’s not above staking a very public claim on her man at local bistro Q’s after she spots Yvonne on Thursday 22 December. “That’s the first time that we start to see a little bit of the manipulative side of Boniswa,” reveals Lusanda. “She wants to stage things now. Intimacy that hasn’t always been out there, now she wants to even overplay that for the benefit of Yvonne so that she can start to know her place when it comes to Siseko.”
