Wyatt is asked to choose between love and justice after he walks in on Quinn kissing Liam.
It’s like a scene from Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) most disturbing nightmare when he goes to his mom Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) cabin on Friday 28 April and finds her in bed kissing his half-brother Liam (Scott Clifton). And on Monday 1 May, Wyatt finds out that Quinn has been taking advantage of Liam’s amnesia to convince him that he’s her loving husband. Quinn is so desperate to cling to her new love that she tries to bargain Wyatt: “Forget what you saw inside of this cabin and walk away and go back to that life that you so desperately wanted,” she pleads. But what kind of man would let his mom treat his own brother as her brainwashed rape puppet so that he could live happily in his brother’s job, with his brother’s ex-fiancée Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)? As it turns out, not Wyatt. But doing the right thing could cost him his brand-new bride.
REUNITED
Viewers will cheer as Wyatt kicks down the cabin door to rescue Liam on Tuesday 2 May. The Spencer brothers then turn the table on Quinn, locking her in her cabin wardrobe. Wyatt’s next choice clearly indicates how sincere he is about wanting no part of Quinn’s scheme, as he rushes Liam back to the cliff house to reunite him with Steffy. “We’ve all been worried about you, wondering where you’ve been, Steffy most of all. Better get down there. Let her know you’re home,” he says. And on Wednesday 3 May, Steffy jumps into Liam’s arms.
TIMING IS EVERYTHING
But not only is Liam’s memory patchy, there’s a lot he missed out on while he’s been Quinn’s prisoner. The first hiccup in this reunion bubbles up on Thursday 4 May when Liam thanks Wyatt for saving him and adds, “I just kind of want to be alone with my fiancée.” Um, about that… But when Wyatt tells Steffy that they must break the bad news – that they got hitched while Liam was MIA – she tells him, “He’s still fragile. I don’t want to hit him with everything all at once.” If not now, when, Steffy?
