One or the other
Sasha calls the play when Caroline returns with Thomas’s son.
Thomas Forrester’s (Pierson Fodé) loveboat is sailing into rough seas but this is one storm he may want to weather. His fling with Forrester model Sasha (Felisha Cooper) has turned into something more, but it’s not enough. And Thomas may have an excuse to ditch her when Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) returns, ready to play family with their baby son Douglas (Abigail and Brielle Rivera).
HONEY, I’M HOME
Caroline left in August after her hubby – Thomas’s dad – Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) told her to have a family with Thomas “for Douglas’s sake”. She left since she didn’t love Thomas – remember, they were black-out drunk when Douglas was conceived. But with Caroline and his son out of sight and out of mind, Thomas needed someone to focus on and after bumping into Sasha at gym on Wednesday 6 September, he was hooked. But it’s “hello babymama” on Tuesday 31 October when Caroline knocks on Thomas’s office door while he’s fitting a gown to Sasha. “Caroline, what are you doing here?” he gasps, followed by “is that my little Dougie?” “Little Dougie?” Oops, did Thomas forget to tell Sasha something?
HACKING A PLAN
Caroline tells Thomas that “we weren’t thinking of coming back. I heard about Eric’s (John McCook) health problems and I wanted to see him. But mostly I wanted to see you.” With his son in his arms, Thomas says to her, “We made a handsome little guy, didn’t we?” That’s the go-ahead Caroline’s waited for and she tells him on Thursday 2 November that “Douglas needs his father. I realised how special you are and how much you really mean to me. We should be a family.” She kisses him on Tuesday 7 November and continues, “Both parents should be living together? I really want us to be a family.”
TAKING THE RIDGE ROAD
Sasha has been eavesdropping all along and before Thomas can open his mouth on Tuesday 7 November, she pulls a Ridge – for Douglas. “It’s better to end things, Thomas. We had fun enjoying each other. But I could never get in the way of a father and his child, especially when I know what it’s like growing up without a dad.” If there’s one thing fans have learnt about Bold’s happy families, it’s that there aren’t any, no matter how hard the parents try…
