Fashion-loving Roxy Burger is back to help the style- challenged among us give their wardrobes an overhaul in season 2 of make-over show How Do I Look? SA (2017- current). Twelve new contestants will see their cupboards invaded and sifted through by Roxy and her co-presenter Kat Sinivasan as they help turn the drab to fab.

Roxy, we hear that you’re delving a little deeper with the participants this season? It’s more than just a make-over show. We have fun but it’s also important to get to the root of the problem for our participants and their style issues. For this season, we are having more indepth discussions with the participants on why they dress the way they do. It could be to do with confidence or even that they’re still wearing clothes from before they lost weigh. It’s also a psychological process and Kat is getting insight from the participants’ significant others. That will help us understand them better and how we need to change their style and tailor each episode for them specifically. Will we see any male participants this season? Unfortunately not. We did get a couple of entries but they didn’t make the cut. If there’s a third season, we will encourage more guys to enter. What in your books is a fashion crime? On set we have this joke that “comfortable” is not a fashion style. If I have to be specific, I am not overly fond of people who think that leggings are pants. They are not. No, no, no. What is your favourite item of clothing for relaxing at home? I have a pair of old faded tracksuit pants that I love. They instantly put me in a relaxed mood. I will never throw them out.
