Ridge (then played by Ronn Moss). From the first episode in 1987, Eric has wanted Brooke but she’s always been in love with his son Ridge, causing endless headaches for the family. Even now, the two Forrester Casanovas are still fighting over wives –

Ridge (now Thorsten Kaye) had an affair with Eric’s new wife Quinn (Rena Sofer), which has caused all-out catfights since they were exposed back in August.

Eric’s other son Thorne (then played by Winsor Harmon) hasn’t had it easy with his old man either. “He was the underdog in the family,” says Winsor. “Eric had favoured Ridge for years, so you can imagine the friction between Thorne and Eric and even against Ridge.” He was also involved with Brooke and their 2002 wedding upset Eric and Ridge to the point of disowning him. And that was the easy fight – Eric demoted his second son at their company Forrester Creations in 2004, so Thorne hired a lookalike model to make Eric think that his wife Donna (Jennifer Gareis) was cheating on him in 2008. Thorne quit the family business in 2016 when he realised he’ll never win Eric’s favour. The drama isn’t over though – a newlook Thorne is back in mid-December (now Ingo Rademacher) “to challenge Ridge for Forrester Creations and Brooke. He’s sick of being Ridge’s little brother and Ridge’s oppressive regime. Thorne’s ready,” warns Brad.
