Bad news for fans of rebooted soap opera Dynasty (2017-current): James Mackay has quit his role as Steven Carrington after two seasons. This comes after Nathalie Kelley quit as Cristal in August and it seems they can agree on one thing: that they’re not pleased with things behind the scenes. James posted on Instagram that “there’s a lot of decisions involved in making television and sometimes they just don’t go your way and you have to live with it. So for now, all love and on we go. Hope you all enjoy the show”, while Nathalie took a cheap shot when she left, claiming in a televised interview that “I’ve got my life back!” following rumours of non-stop complications offscreen.
