Sechaba was in the newspapers for the prostitution business at his hotel, Wendy kissed her brother-in-law Hendrik, and Obakeng got closer to his mom Nina’s assistant Cebisa.

2 – 4 JANUARY

Sechaba tries to hide his embarrassment, and Kgothalo tries to ignore charming Lefa. Hendrik and Wendy continue their affair, and Sibiya’s visit to the shebeen ends in disaster. Gabriel convinces Phindile to help him get Sechaba fired as mayor, and Lalage is oblivious to her husband and sister’s connection. Sibiya asks Phindile to help him with his finances, and Lalage breaks down after stumbling across something she shouldn’t have.

7 – 11 JANUARY

Lungi demands answers from Gabriel about what he’s up to, and Lalage confronts twotiming Hendrik and Wendy. Sibiya’s fridge is empty and the bills are piling up, and Lalage slaps her sister Wendy in front of patrons at the Bokamoso hotel. Obakeng and Cebisa have a strategy in place to make more money at the shebeen, Sechaba fails to get the community on his side, and Lalage throws Wendy out of her house. Former prostitute Veronica is back from rehab, and Sechaba’s family turn on him as well.

14 – 15 JANUARY

Hendrik leaves when his home life get too much, Sechaba considers stepping down as mayor, and Veronica runs into an old client.
