Odirile was sent to prison for murdering her niece Princess Mosetsana but she was released when new evidence linked her other niece Princess Kefilwe to the murder. Otsile wanted to propose to Mapula, and Odirile used muti to drug her sister Queen Mosadi.

2 – 3 JANUARY

The village comes to a standstill while preparing for the annual harvest festival when Queen Mosadi is spotted walking on the roof of the royal palace. Odirile manages to pull her sister to safety when Mosadi slips and almost falls to her death, and Goitseone is surprised to learn that his sister Mapula is engaged and he warns her to stay away from evil Moseki.

7 – 10 JANUARY

Roxy gives her friend Mapula advice and she tries to help the future royal come up with a plan to force Otsile’s family to accept her. Odirile teams up with Lazarus to get her other niece Dipuo out of the way before she causes more trouble, and Moseki is furious when he hears about Otsile and Mapula’s relationship. Odirile doesn’t realise that her brother Moseki is manipulating her, and Moseki convinces the royal council to replace an out-of-sorts Queen Mosadi as soon as possible. Dipuo doesn’t realise that her life is in danger, and Odirile is furious that her brother used her in his plan to get to the throne.

14 – 15 JANUARY

Odirile is left licking her wounds as Dipuo and Moseki celebrate getting rid of Mosadi, and Mapula’s homeless secret shocks the village. Ex- Queen Mosadi meanwhile loses her cool with an enemy and punches are thrown.
