MAY
Lungi is surprised when Sechaba tells her that Lincoln killed his wife Katlego (Kgomotso Christopher) in 2016 and hid the death from the police. Zandre and Anja can’t look their father in the eye because of his infidelity and their aunt Wendy is getting a cold shoulder too. Sibiya’s ego is out of a control ahead of the mayoral vote, and Lalage is deeply embarrassed by her dirty laundry being aired in public. Lincoln meanwhile isn’t giving Lungi the time of day, and Hendrik commits to fixing his marriage but Lalage is considering filing for divorce.
Morongwa sticks her nose where it doesn’t belong but she isn’t thinking about the consequences, Sibiya and Makgorometsa’s friendship hits a rough patch, and Lungi puts everything on the line with Lincoln when she talks about her dead husband and her abusive childhood. Lalage blames Morongwa for her failing marriage when she learns that her friend kept Wendy and Hendrik’s affair a secret, and Makgorometsa asks Gatanga to help him repair his friendship with wannabe-mayor Sibiya. There is drama in the Sibeko penthouse when Lincoln and Lungi’s relationship makes headlines, Sibiya sinks into depression following the mayoral ballot, and Anja turns to Obakeng for comfort while her family is falling apart.
