A scheming sidechick & bad-debt drama

Tbose is on a quest to find the perfect birthday gift for his girlfriend Sihle, and Marothi and Rachel are forced to deal with the consequences of Botshelo’s actions. MaNtuli is keeping an eagle eye on Tbose and Kwaito after the friends’ latest hi-jinx, and BigBoy tries to find ways to finance his son Leshole’s varsity fees. Kwaito ignores MaNtuli’s orders and goes to Johannesburg anyway, and Officer Babeile (Matthews Manamela) calls Marothi to the police station. Kwaito is willing to cheat on his girlfriend Glenda when Lizzy offers herself, and Celia is in trouble with the cops for interfering in their case.

Kwaito’s two-timing ways catch up to him when his sidepiece Lizzy arrives at his door while he’s wining and dining Glenda inside, and BigBoy’s financial woes worsen when his electricity is disconnected for outstanding money. Rachel weighs up the pros and cons of marrying an alleged murderer, and Lizzy is a mixture of emotion when she sees a photo on social media of Kwaito and Glenda cuddled up.
Father-and-son team BigBoy and Leshole put their thinking caps on to get out of debt before everything they own is repossessed, and Kwaito’s guilt about balancing the two women in his life is gnawing at him. A new witness comes forward who could save Marothi from a prison sentence, and Leshole’s lovelife is on the rise as his cash crisis continues. Sihle finds herself in an awkward position when she finds out about Kwaito’s cheating because he is her friend, but she owes more loyalty to his oblivious girlfriend Glenda.
BigBoy walks in on his son Leshole in a compromising position, and Marothi’s police problems continue when Captain Malebana and Babeile renew their murder investigation against him. Sthoko (Innocent Sadiki) makes her way back to Turfloop and her family, determined to put her troubled past behind her and provide for her family and son Clement. Rachel meanwhile worries when her fiancé Marothi changes his statement about Angie’s (the role wasn’t cast) murder.
