Justin thinks that he’s made a breakthrou­gh with his music career, and Ian is surprised when he bumps into someone from his past. Tim tries to make peace with new developmen­ts in his life, and Mymoena organises a dinner party for Kaashifa. Rhafiek is feeling increasing­ly frustrated by his situation, and Lee-Ann is sceptical about Ian and Sharon’s (Evangeline Pharo) relationsh­ip. Carmen is irritated by Rhafiek’s non-stop complainin­g, and Mrs J goes to extra- ordinary levels to be kind to everyone. Justin is critical of his photos despite everyone liking them, and Sharon gives Ian a piece of her mind.

MAY

Rhafiek discovers a new passion to keep him busy, and Sharon battles to keep her distance from the Octobers. Justin makes a rash decision that lands him in trouble at home and work, and Lee-Ann smells a rat but she isn’t sure what to do about it. Sharon is getting on Lee-Ann’s nerves, and Rhafiek has his eyes firmly set on his future. The young Samsodiens wrestle with what to tell their parents about the gambling money, and Justin’s photoshoot turns out differentl­y to what he expected. Lee-Ann is still wary around Sharon, and AB puts his foot down about the gambling money.

Sharon has had enough of being treated badly and she considers leaving town for good. Justin is forced to make a change to his appearance, and there is an unexpected twist to Carmen and Rhafiek’s dream. Chris and Ian realise that they’ve underestim­ated Sharon, and Justin’s career looks to be on the up. AB and Rhafiek fight over money, and Ian worries about Sharon being a threat and exposing the skeletons from his past. Justin hates his new photos, Mymoena tries to broker peace, and Ian tries to save his own bacon.
