This 2018 documentary explores three families’ fight against mental health disorders and how their children, who’re suffering the uncontrollable conditions, are physically dangerous.
You think you know about mental health. You think you know how it’s treated. But the reality is a lot scarier than you realise, especially if you are not directly impacted by it. This film shows the good, the bad and the very, very ugly sides of people with mental health issues. These groups of parents and their families are going through the absolute most with their situation. It’s heart-breaking to see both the children and their parents struggle because there is simply nothing that can be done to help them. Yes, there are mental healthcare workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, as well as
treatments and medications. But each patient is different and nothing is guaranteed with these conditions.
