Nontle is about to get a new car, but her excitement is short-lived. Detective Pele is speechless after learning about a medical procedure, a new journalist is already stepping on toes, and Sphe overhears something that may send the Moroka family to their proverbial graves. Luyolo turns to a friend for advice despite his ex’s reservations, Pamela loses her cool in prison and the guards have to intervene, and two brothers finally clash over years of unresolved issues.
Two teen girls come to a decision but it may exclude a dear friend, a nurse is ready to start life afresh, and Fikile is all smiles following a job interview. Luyolo wants a serious chat with Sphe, Zanele warns a nosey Detective Pele to let go of a matter, and Mbali is convinced that everyone wants to make her life miserable. Ayanda is stunned by an unannounced guest’s arrival, Lelethu is far too trusting of a certain doctor, and Melokuhle receives horrible news and her best friend shows little interest. Autopsy results have Pele puzzled, there’s a familiar face at a Cape Town spa, and a dinner party goes from success to mess in no time. Elsewhere, Lelethu will risk everything to get what he wants, and Ayanda decides to push her luck.
